Puzzle situation

I am a down-and-out painter, and my wife accompanied me to the countryside for inspiration for my career. The mountain road was bumpy and rugged, and the car suddenly broke down. At this moment, a passing herdsman leading a horse took us to a village to stay overnight. In the evening, my wife said she was very hot and thirsty and wanted to get some water, but she never returned. I was worried and went out to find her, only to see her standing among several wells. With a vacant look in her eyes, she jumped into one of the wells. I was both scared and excited, and hurriedly painted the scene.
