Puzzle situation

I am a masseur. Today, I went to a client's house for a scheduled appointment. He was quite talkative, chatting with me throughout the session, but his hands were restless, intentionally or unintentionally taking advantage of me. The house was filled with the aroma of food; it seemed dinner was almost ready. From the bathroom came the sound of running water gradually diminishing, while from another room came a child's voice calling 'Mommy, Mommy,' sounding very eerie. The next day, the news reported that the family of three had all died.
